If you have been looking for an acupuncturist and have cosmically landed on Rachel's page, you have found something much more than acupuncture. You have found a safe place to rest, to feel held, and cared for. I have been seeing Rachel weekly for two years now, and there have been countless times I arrived at the clinic just minutes after a panic attack meltdown. Since I started seeing Rachel, I decided to taper off my SSRIs, which I had been dependent on for almost ten years, so it has been an emotionally turbulent time (not to mention external stressors in the world that we collectively experience). In those moments, it felt impossible to calm down, but when I got to the clinic, Rachel knew how to bring me back to earth. Even on days when I'm feeling OK, each time I leave an acupuncture session, I feel rested, calm, and clear. Not only does Rachel help you to heal energetically and physically — She is also there to offer genuine, heartfelt support through deep listening, validation, advice, and suggested reading, music, and movies. Rachel cares deeply about the well-being of people she knows and doesn't know. You have found the right Chinese Medicine physician, healer, and friend. Finally, her healing spaces are beautiful and warm (not just visually: infrared lamp and biomat table warmer). Her music selections are calming and transcendent, and the scent of the burning moxa is heaven on earth. Come for the healing, stay for the beauty.

"I came to Rachel seeking a fresh approach to a lingering MCL tear that had troubled me for three years. After only a year of monthly treatments, my knee was pain-free. Now, I continue to see Rachel for relief from ongoing arm, shoulder, and neck tension caused by my desk job, but what she offers goes far beyond pain management...

Each session with her is a learning experience in holistic, preventative self-care that I can apply in my everyday life. Through Rachel’s thoughtful guidance and personalized check-ins, I’ve transformed my routines—everything from eating seasonally and using a standing desk to advocating for myself and setting healthy boundaries in my career.

I’m deeply grateful for Rachel’s presence in my life and the new perspectives she has opened for my personal growth. I always carry her business card in my wallet and eagerly share her as a resource with anyone seeking genuine healing."

"I had never tried acupuncture before, but found Rachel's care to be profound and gentle. She has seen me through illness, grief, marathon training, and the gift of daily life. Her practice makes me feel so safe. I appreciate her thoughtful and informed approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine, especially in our discussions on the seasons and food energetics as approaches to nourishment. Her ability to field my sensitivity to needles (and beyond) is just as on point as her ability to recommend the perfect book. It's a rare experience, to feel so seen and cared for."

After seeing Rachel now for over a year and a half I can confidently say her acupuncture practice has changed my life in the most positive way imaginable. She offers so much knowledge about Chinese Medicine and herbs, I now have an entire medicine cabinet devoted to herbs which I feel have truly helped me, from dealing with a gnarly cough post COVID, to daily immunity formulas, to stomach upset, I feel prepared with whatever is thrown at me. Rachel’s continued care and support has helped me through stressful and turbulent times in my life, her warm presence lifts me up on grey days. She is personable and genuinely cares about your well being and is willing to go lengths to make sure you feel okay even on days you're not in the clinic. I can happily say that I consider Rachel a friend, as well as a pivotal part of my continued self care practices. I leave treatment each week with a lightness, and whenever I miss a week I really feel a difference. To have worked with Rachel now for such a long period of time, I truly cannot imagine my life without her gentleness and warm spirit.

Rachel is the first acupuncturist I've ever worked with, and after seeing her for almost a year now, it's hard to imagine not having her as part of my arsenal of care. Rachel has seen me through challenging ups and downs in my health with a rare gentleness and deep attentiveness. She is so knowledgeable and is always willing to share that knowledge. Working with her expands beyond the walls of the treatment room, it feels like I'm always learning new ways of understanding my body through the lens of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. And in the rare instance that she's unsure of something, she goes out of her way to dig deeper and offer new solutions. I feel more connected to my health because of Rachel, and I leave treatment each week with an overwhelming sense of calm and comfort. To be Rachel's patient is a totally dynamic experience and a true blessing - I couldn't recommend it any more.

Rachel embodies and models the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the way she shows up in the world — emphasizing rest, warm nourishment, and simplicity. Her consistent reminders of these simple/accessible ways of grounding are especially helpful in a world that often feels messy and complicated. Seeing her regularly has helped me prioritize these principles in my own life, and I'm so much better for it. Thank you, Rachel!

My sessions with Rachel over the years have been a beautiful cumulative experience. Learning more about acupuncture as one of Rachel’s patients has been both educational and informative. She offers an opening through her gentle, caring, and focused practice. Seeing her has produced so many benefits that transcend the physical and really make way for deep connection with oneself. Our time together has brought great psychic and spiritual transformationI. I cannot recommend her as a practitioner of TCM enough and have immense gratitude for what she continues to bring into my life.

Working with Rachel for the past couple of years has been transformative in many ways, but most notably: my chronic migraines have dissipated, and - many months - completely disappeared. I have also seen an overall improvement in my quality of sleep, immune system, stress levels, and even skin. I saw Rachel throughout my recent pregnancy, and the care she provided was so thoughtful and knowledgeable- she really cares about her patients deeply, and went above and beyond. Her support was such an essential element to my pregnancy care, and I think it set me up for success during birth and my postpartum transition in many ways. Rachel is also so spot-on when it comes to nutritional and herbal recommendations. I recommend her services constantly!

Rachel is one of my favorite things about LA. As a new Angeleno, she has a special gift for making me feel cared for and relaxed during this time of transition. She is a deep resource for community. Rachel helps me to think more about my wellbeing in ways that aren’t obvious to me. She’s helped me to build a care  routine through her practice in herbal medicine - her enthusiasm is contagious. I’m so grateful to have her as a regular part of my schedule and my world.

I’m lucky that Rachel is part of my medical care. She is a gifted acupuncturist that helps me rest, repair, and come back into balance. She reminds me that healing is a natural occurrence and has guided me through many challenges. Whenever I doubt that I can get better, I hear her sweet voice encouraging me, “You will.” I did. I do.
